A foster mother, and a registered nurse to boot, thought it was a good idea to attempt to quiet her crying foster child by taping a pacifier to the infants mouth. Aggravating factor, she works in the neonatal intensive care wing of the hosptial she works at. Mitigating factor, she used medical tape….. Manny Ramirez tested positive for HCG, a women’s fertility drug and has been suspended for 50 games by the MLB. This same drug has been linked to Barry Bonds and Jason Giambi. Jose Canseco released a statement saying he took the same medication to raise testosterone levels in his body coming off of steroid cycles. Ramirez states that he was given the drug by a doctor and did not know it was a banned substance. In his statement he said that he has taken 15 tests over the last 5 years all of which have been clean. As a huge baseball fan, this is kind of a big blow. Ramirez was always thought to be the cleanest of clean, as he’s not in the best shape and is not very coordinated in the field, everyone just assumed that he had a natural talent to hit. It looks like another perceived Hall of Famer falls to the steroid era. Please Pujols please don’t make the same mistake. A body works exhibit (which are incredibly creepy) in Germany (which is just as creepy…Germans….) has a male and female corpse posed as they are having sex in the ahem reverse cowgirl ahem position. Thats right two dead bodies posed as they are having sex. Gunther von Hagens, the exhibits creator, wanted to showcase the “cycle of life” and doesn’t think there is anything wrong with the exhibit.
